Straightforward terms for a focused beta.

These terms describe the current Lumio service, what you are responsible for, and the limits of a personal planning tool.

Using Lumio

You may use Lumio to plan and review your own personal finances. You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity completed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.

A planning tool, not financial advice

Lumio organizes information you provide and calculates views from that information. It is not a bank, payment provider, accountant, financial adviser, or investment service. Outputs can be affected by incomplete entries, configuration choices, or software errors. Review important decisions independently and seek a qualified professional when needed.

Sharing a household or a life event

You can create a household and invite other people, and you can invite a planner to a life event such as a wedding. When you do, you are choosing to show them the records in that shared space. Invite only people you intend to have that access, and remove them when it is no longer needed — you can do both at any time from within the product.

Records you enter into a shared household may remain visible to its other members after you leave, since the household's history belongs to the household. If you need something removed, delete the record itself before leaving.

Documents you upload

You may upload PDF, PNG, or JPEG files up to 10 MB and 20 pages, and only files you have the right to store. Lumio reads text from them on its own infrastructure to suggest values, and always asks you to confirm before creating any record. Extraction is limited and can be wrong; you are responsible for checking what it read.

Uploaded files are given a retention window and may be removed after it passes. Keep your own copy of anything you need to retain.

Bakong payment requests

Lumio can generate a KHQR payment code and record a contribution once the Bakong service confirms that specific request was paid. Lumio does not hold funds, move money, connect to your bank account, or act as a payment provider — you complete the payment yourself in your own banking app, and the payment itself is governed by your bank's and Bakong's terms, not these.

Your records

You keep ownership of the information you enter. You give Lumio the limited permission needed to store, process, display, export, and restore those records so the service can work. How the service handles information is explained in the Privacy notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • access another person's account or records;
  • probe, bypass, or interfere with security or rate limits;
  • upload malicious files or use the service to break the law;
  • upload documents, or enter another person's details as a creditor, vendor, or collaborator, without the right to do so;
  • resell, scrape, or overload the beta in a way that disrupts other users.

Beta availability

Lumio is a controlled beta. Features may change, pause, or be removed as reliability and user needs are evaluated. The current MVP does not include live billing, and no paid subscription is created through the service. Lumio may suspend access when needed to protect users, comply with law, or prevent abuse.

Service limits

Lumio is provided on an as-available basis during the beta. We work to keep calculations and data controls reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every result will be error-free. To the extent allowed by applicable law, Lumio is not responsible for decisions made from incomplete or inaccurate records, indirect losses, or events outside reasonable control.

Ending use

You may stop using Lumio at any time. Settings includes an account deletion flow that removes your identity and live application records after recent authentication. Lumio may end beta access for serious or repeated violations of these terms.

Changes and questions

These terms may be updated as the beta changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. For questions or account help, visit Support.
